Information and responsibility

LapProtocol is an educational technical publication. Its articles, examples, figures and tools are provided to support understanding, not as a substitute for checking the vehicle, component documentation, manufacturer instructions, circuit or event requirements, scrutineering rules or qualified professional advice.

Drivers and vehicle owners remain responsible for decisions made about a vehicle and for ensuring that it is suitable, legal and safe for its intended use. Particular care is required for brakes, wheels, suspension, steering, restraints, structural components and tyres.

Tools and calculators

Tools operate only within their stated method, assumptions, units and limitations. A result is not a guarantee, a universal rule or a substitute for inspection and appropriate technical judgement. The Cold-to-Hot worksheet records observed rise and does not recommend pressure targets or pressure changes.

Content changes and corrections

LapProtocol may update, correct or remove content as sources, context or methods change. Published content should show relevant review or update information where appropriate.

Intellectual property and links

LapProtocol's original text, design and graphics remain protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. Third-party names, documents and links remain the responsibility of their respective owners. A third-party link is provided for context and is not an endorsement unless clearly stated.

These terms and any non-contractual dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights a consumer may have under applicable law.
