Current audit
The consent control uses one first-party localStorage entry to remember whether a visitor accepted or rejected optional analytics. This preference storage is necessary for remembering the choice and preventing the control from appearing on every page. It does not contain session readings or an analytics identifier.
Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after explicit acceptance. Google is the analytics provider, and the purpose is to understand aggregated site usage and performance. After acceptance, Google Analytics may set or access first-party analytics cookies, including cookies using the_ga naming convention. No analytics tag, analytics cookies or analytics measurement are used before acceptance. Optional analytics is not required to use the site.
Your choice
You can accept or reject analytics in the consent control. If you reject it, Google Analytics remains unloaded. You can later change the choice using Cookie settings in the footer. Changing from acceptance to rejection stops future Google Analytics collection and removes accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies where the browser allows. The site remains usable without analytics.
