About

A practical authority for the next lap.

LapProtocol is a data-and-setup publication for club racers and serious track-day drivers.

For general enquiries, contact hello@lapprotocol.com.

What LapProtocol covers

LapProtocol brings together telemetry, tyre and session data, setup and handling, structured track testing, driver feedback and technical tools. The aim is to make real-car track performance more legible: observe what happened, preserve its context and explain what can and cannot be concluded.

What it is not

  • It is not a focus on motorsport news or paddock folklore presented as fact.
  • It does not provide sim-racing setup content.
  • It does not claim professional race-engineering credentials, employment, qualifications or hands-on testing unless those facts are explicitly verified.

Publication boundary

Examples are labelled when they are teaching or representative material. Technical tools expose their assumptions and limitations. Safety-critical decisions remain with the driver, manufacturer documentation, event requirements and appropriately qualified professionals.
